Combination Skin
What are the common characteristics of combination skin:
Oily central area on the face and dry or sensitive areas on the cheeks.
Often dry on the surface of the skin and at the same time, an over-production of sebum, which can cause spots and papules.
Skincare routine for combination skin:
Morning:
- Rose Water - spray directly on to the face or apply with a cotton pad (when waking in the morning, it is not normally necessary to cleanse prior to using toner as your face usually does not get dirty during sleep)
- Eye Cream - lightly dab small amounts around the eyes
- Moisturiser normal/oily or Jojoba Oil - apply to face, avoiding the eye area. The Jojoba Oil can be used instead, to regulate sebum production if required.
- Jojoba Oil, Carrot Oil or Body Oil with Sea Buckthorn - apply preferred oil only on dry areas, especially during Winter.
Evening:
- Face Wash or Cleansing Cream - dampen the face with luke warm water, place a small amount in your hand and gently massage the face to remove dirt and makeup, then rinse with luke-warm water. Face Wash is a lathering gel and Cleansing Cream is smooth and does not lather; choice is down to personal preferrence.

Extra nutrition:
- Gentle Peeling - to exfoliate dull surface cells and give skin a healty glow. Use light circular movements to massage into damp skin and rinse off with luke warm water. Avoid eye area, surface blood vessels and active spots. 1-2 times per week.
- Clay Mask - for a deep cleanse to relax, balance and soften the skin. Apply thin layer and let it work for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water. 1-2 times per week.
- Carrot Oil - apply on skin dampened by Rose Water. Use morning and evening for extra nourishment, especially in Winter.
- Vitamin C Serum - give skin an extra boost of vitamin C. Apply to cleansed skin before Moisturiser. 2-3 times per week.
- Night Care Intense - apply after cleansed skin. Use instead of Moisturiser or Oil if extra nutrition is needed for the night. As a more intensive face mask, leave on the skin for 15 minutes and wipe off excess, do not use water.
- Anti Wrinkle Rose Cream - use instead of Moisturiser when more nutrition is required for mature skin.
