Sensitive Skin

What are the common characteristics of sensitive skin?

Fine pores.
Reddens easily in the cold or heat, or due to physical effort.
Often shallow capillaries.
Often very dry skin.

Skincare routine for sensitive skin:

Morning:

  1. Rose Water - spray directly on to the face or apply with a cotton pad (when waking in the morning, it is not normally necessary to cleanse prior to using toner as your face usually does not get dirty during sleep)
  2. Eye Cream - lightly dab small amounts around the eyes
  3. Moisturiser dry/sensitive - apply to face, avoiding the eye area

Evening:

  1. Cleansing Cream - dampen the face with luke warm water, place a small amount in your hand and gently massage the face to remove dirt and makeup, then rinse with luke-warm water.
  2. Rose Water - spray directly on to the face or apply with a cotton pad.
  3. Eye Cream - lightly dab small amounts around the eyes.
  4. Moisturiser dry/sensitive - apply to face, avoiding the eye area

.Extra nutrition:

  • Night Care Intense - apply after cleansed skin. Use instead of Moisturiser if extra nutrition is needed for the night. As a more intensive face mask, leave on the skin for 15 minutes and wipe off excess, do not use water.
  • Carrot Oil - apply on skin dampened by Rose Water. Use morning and evening for extra nourishment, especially in Winter.
  • Clay Mask - for a deep cleanse to relax, balance and soften the skin. Apply thin layer and let it work for about 15 minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Use when a deeper cleanse is required.
  • Vitamin C Serum - give skin an extra boost of vitamin C. Apply to cleansed skin before moisturiser. 2-3 times per week.
  • Anti Wrinkle Rose Cream - use instead of Moisturiser when more nutrition is required.
